What dialing format do you use?
If I was phoning the irish number from within Irleand +353766139xxx what number would i dail?

Answer: 00353766139xxx or 353766139xxx would work.

All outgoing calls should be dialed in the international format format country code+area code+number. You can optionaly prefix 00 if you wish.

Buy numbers for your VoIP service
Buyers can buy DIDs for their VoIP services such as internet telephones or other VoIP related products.

Geographical DID numbers purchased at MyDivert.com can also be used with your own SIP provider. Simply update your phone number SIP settings from your MyDivert user account.
All incoming calls will then ring to your chosen SIP without diversion.

Do the DID numbers display Caller ID
99% of the DID numbers do carry good CALLER ID for inbound calls. i.e. they will correctly pass the CID number of the person who is calling the DID number. We can't guarantee caller ID for all countries or areas. In particular Singapore and Malaysian DID carry poor inbound CID at this time (march 2010).

CID for outbound calls is set by our server according to the settings you choose. The CID displayed on outbound calls is a completely seperate issue from inbound CID on your DID number.

Do I need internet or any device?
No, a big difference between our system and VOIP (Vonage, Lingo, etc) is that with MyDivert.com you donít need to install complicated devices and configure them, you simply log into your account and set your ring-to number.

All you need is a telephone or mobile to receive the calls!

Problems receiving incoming calls
If you can successfuly register your sip device but are unable to receive incoming calls, or sometimes incoming calls do not arrive the problem is almost certainly caused by your VoIP client being behind a NAT router.

Check your device configuration and set the registration period to 60 seconds (or 120 seconds). This will usualy resolve the issue as the registration interval is now less than the dns timeout between the NAT router and the VoIP phone.

You can try using a stun server such as stunserver.org

Enable any other 'keep alive' options, or NAT support features, available in the voip device configuration.

If possible log into your NAT router and enable any NAT support features.

Can I have multiple numbers?
Yes sure, that is one of the great advantages of MyDivert.com.

you can purchase multiple DID for one account, or request the addition of linked accounts if you require additional sip extensions for each number.

Are the phone numbers individual?
Yes, MyDivert.com provides unique phone numbers to each customer and the number will belong to you for as long as you want it.

If an account at MyDivert.com is closed the associated phone numbers are deleted from our system.

Do you provide wholesale call termination?
Yes we do provide a wholesale call rates plan. The discount is a 10.5% reduction on the standard calling rates.

The wholesale rates are available for users with a call spend approaching 100 euro/month.
