Do you provide wholesale call termination?
Yes we do provide a wholesale call rates plan. The discount is a 10.5% reduction on the standard calling rates.

The wholesale rates are available for users with a call spend approaching 100 euro/month.

If you are using a voip phone, softphone, or receiving your call via SIP, and someone calls your number you will not be charged. Incoming SIP calls are FREE

Call charges only apply to outbound calls. This includes use of the call forwarding function, as the forwarded call generates an outbound call leg.

Can I use my account when I'm in a foreign country?
Yes, you can login to your mydivert.com account from anywhere with internet access. You can use MyDivert.com with a local number from any country we offer. You can find the available countries on the phone numbers page. You can forward calls to any number, or SIP URI, worldwide.

Can I peer my DID number to an IAX address
Yes. We can send calls using SIP or IAX protocol.

Caller ID on outbound Calls
From your account page you have the options to set the caller ID number (CID) to be sent with oubound calls.

The options are;

Anonymous: 'anonymous' is sent
Caller ID DID Number: the selected DID number will be sent
Set by user device: a valid CID sent by the user device will be sent.

Note: how exactly a recipient network chooses to display CID is not a metter under our control. For example, some networks will not display a CID unless the CID number originates from the termination network.

There are also some issues caused by what is known as Caller ID Name. CID name is only supported by some networks. We set CID name = 'anonymous'. If CID is 'Set by user device' we will pass the CID name sent.

If you choose 'Set by user device' this is only likely to work if the CID is properly sent and probaly more suited to pbx users.

Problems receiving incoming calls
If you can successfuly register your sip device but are unable to receive incoming calls, or sometimes incoming calls do not arrive the problem is almost certainly caused by your VoIP client being behind a NAT router.

Check your device configuration and set the registration period to 60 seconds (or 120 seconds). This will usualy resolve the issue as the registration interval is now less than the dns timeout between the NAT router and the VoIP phone.

You can try using a stun server such as stunserver.org

Enable any other 'keep alive' options, or NAT support features, available in the voip device configuration.

If possible log into your NAT router and enable any NAT support features.

There are no per-minute charges for incoming SIP calls. Each DID is billed on a fixed monthly fee basis, with no extra per-minute charges. This is a flat-rate service, which means that you can talk as much as you want for a low, monthly charge.

Outbound calls, and calls that are forwarded to external numbers, are charged according to our Call Rates plan.
