Making outgoing calls
Yes you can. You will need either a softphone that can be downloaded for free, and runs on your computer, or a SIP device (IP phone).

What is the difference between DID and DDI?
DID means Direct Inward Dialling. In the VoIP world, that actually means nothing more than a regular phone number.

DDI is exactly the same. Different countries use different terms to indicate the same thing. For example in the USA people use DID. In Europe people use DDI.

discounts for annual payment
Hi, are there any discounts for annual payment or six month payment in advance?

If you manualy renew a DID number 10 times in succession we will add an additional 2 months for you at no charge. This discount is for a 12 months advance subscription.

When a number is renewed manualy you receive a 5% discount anyway. The extra 2 months are in addition to the 5% discount.

If you wish to claim the additional 2 months you must notify us via a support ticket so we can then add them.

Problems receiving incoming calls
If you can successfuly register your sip device but are unable to receive incoming calls, or sometimes incoming calls do not arrive the problem is almost certainly caused by your VoIP client being behind a NAT router.

Check your device configuration and set the registration period to 60 seconds (or 120 seconds). This will usualy resolve the issue as the registration interval is now less than the dns timeout between the NAT router and the VoIP phone.

You can try using a stun server such as stunserver.org

Enable any other 'keep alive' options, or NAT support features, available in the voip device configuration.

If possible log into your NAT router and enable any NAT support features.

Do I need internet or any device?
No, a big difference between our system and VOIP (Vonage, Lingo, etc) is that with MyDivert.com you donít need to install complicated devices and configure them, you simply log into your account and set your ring-to number.

All you need is a telephone or mobile to receive the calls!

Do I have Access to Call Records?
Call records are stored for 12 months and are made available to you via our secure user account area. Information such as source and destination numbers, date and time of each call as well as the duration and cost of the calls are available.

Can I use my account when I'm in a foreign country?
Yes, you can login to your mydivert.com account from anywhere with internet access. You can use MyDivert.com with a local number from any country we offer. You can find the available countries on the phone numbers page. You can forward calls to any number, or SIP URI, worldwide.
