My Divert My Divert Call Forwarding Service - FAQ

Can I have multiple numbers?
Yes sure, that is one of the great advantages of

you can purchase multiple DID for one account, or request the addition of linked accounts if you require additional sip extensions for each number.

Do you have an API available?
Yes, we have an easy-to-use DID API (Application Programming Interface) that is available to our users at no charge. This API may be integrated into your website or application so as to facilitate the purchasing, configuration and maintenance of DIDs by your own customers. Please contact support for further information.

Do I have Access to Call Records?
Call records are stored for 12 months and are made available to you via our secure user account area. Information such as source and destination numbers, date and time of each call as well as the duration and cost of the calls are available.

Problems receiving incoming calls
If you can successfuly register your sip device but are unable to receive incoming calls, or sometimes incoming calls do not arrive the problem is almost certainly caused by your VoIP client being behind a NAT router.

Check your device configuration and set the registration period to 60 seconds (or 120 seconds). This will usualy resolve the issue as the registration interval is now less than the dns timeout between the NAT router and the VoIP phone.

You can try using a stun server such as

Enable any other 'keep alive' options, or NAT support features, available in the voip device configuration.

If possible log into your NAT router and enable any NAT support features.

Instant Activation for Phone Numbers
New phone numbers in the UK or nearly anywhere else in the world are available for use immediately here at

Select your country to check available areas and monthly cost.

Open an account in just a minute with €10 calling credit to login and purchase your new phone number. With our automated process your numbers will be activated instantly.

Caller ID on outbound Calls
From your account page you have the options to set the caller ID number (CID) to be sent with oubound calls.

The options are;

Anonymous: 'anonymous' is sent
Caller ID DID Number: the selected DID number will be sent
Set by user device: a valid CID sent by the user device will be sent.

Note: how exactly a recipient network chooses to display CID is not a metter under our control. For example, some networks will not display a CID unless the CID number originates from the termination network.

There are also some issues caused by what is known as Caller ID Name. CID name is only supported by some networks. We set CID name = 'anonymous'. If CID is 'Set by user device' we will pass the CID name sent.

If you choose 'Set by user device' this is only likely to work if the CID is properly sent and probaly more suited to pbx users.

What IP address do you send calls from
If you receive inbound calls using a voip telephone, sip device, or pbx registered to the sip trunk provided with the account, your calls will be sent from (

If you choose to use custom SIP URI peering for your purchsed DID number, the calls to that URI may be sent directly from our mapping servers, (

DID calls can originate from the following IPs:

Custom Mappings -

Recommended Codecs
G711 G729

Which codecs do you support?
